Every year ECN holds an annual meeting. These meetings are normally held in conjunction with the Entomological Society of America's Annual Meeting. These two day meetings give ECN members a chance to share information relevant to entomological collection management, collection curation, and collections based research. In recent years, we have had symposia on the “Zootaxa phenomenon,” “Specimen processing for large biotic surveys,” and “Taxonomic names registration.” If you have ideas for future symposia, please contact the organizing committee. Our next meeting is in Reno, NV in December of 2008. Look for more information here soon. |
