Entomological Collections Management Workshop

The 2018 Entomological Collections Management Workshop was held at the California Academy of Sciences (CAS) in San Francisco, California from July 23-26 (Monday-Thursday). Registered participants should expect to arrive on Sunday, July 22 for a small reception and leave on Friday, July 27. The workshop will be led by co-instructors Dr. David G. Furth (Furth Museum Consulting) and Dr. Floyd W. Shockley (Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History), with guest lectures from Dr. Chris Grinter (CAS), Deborah Paul (iDigBio), and Katja Seltmann (UCSB). Selected registrants will receive additional details separately regarding hotel, itinerary, etc. We are pleased to once again be able to offer up to twenty $1000 travel scholarships to participants without institutional support to attend. If interested in applying for a travel scholarship, complete the justification statement during registration.
